Best Lindy AI Alternatives for Marketing Teams in 2026

Lindy is a solid general-purpose AI assistant. It handles inbox management, meeting scheduling, CRM updates, and support triage — and if that's what your team needs, there's a reasonable case for it.

But marketing teams who go looking for alternatives usually want something Lindy isn't built to be: a marketing lead who proposes what to do, rather than an assistant you direct, or a builder for their own agents. Lindy's per-user, credit-metered pricing also adds up for heavy research and writing work.

This guide covers the six strongest Lindy alternatives for marketing teams in 2026, what each one actually does, and which use case each one wins.

Updated October 5, 2026: Lindy's features and every product's pricing were rechecked against each vendor's own website, and Relay.app, which shut down in September 2026, was replaced. Pricing checked October 5, 2026.

What is Lindy AI?

Lindy describes itself as an AI teammate that "plugs into your tools, learns how you work, and takes real work off your plate." Common uses on its site include:

  • Managing your inbox and drafting replies in your voice
  • Scheduling meetings, preparing for them, and following up
  • Updating CRM records
  • Triaging the support queue
  • Tracking competitors and monitoring ad spend

Lindy works in Slack threads and mentions, email, iMessage and the browser. It runs scheduled routines, such as a morning brief or a Monday report, keeps a memory you can read and edit, and connects to Gmail, Slack, Notion, HubSpot and 1,500+ other integrations, plus MCP servers. Anything with outside impact, such as sending an email or posting to another channel, waits for your approval.

Pricing (checked October 5, 2026): Plus is $29.99 per user per month with 3,000 credits, Pro is $99.99 with 15,000, Max is $199.99 with 35,000, and Enterprise is custom. New users get $50 in free credits for 7 days, with no card.

Why marketing teams look for alternatives

Lindy's strengths (a general-purpose assistant, broad integrations, approvals built in) are also its limits for marketing teams with recurring, plan-driven work.

The main reasons marketing teams look elsewhere:

1. An assistant you direct, not a marketing lead. Lindy does the work you hand it, including on a schedule. Deciding what marketing should happen each week, and against which number, stays with you.

2. Per-seat credits for heavy work. Lindy rates "deep work", such as researching a competitor and writing the report, at 250–1,000 credits. Plus includes 3,000 credits per user a month, roughly 3 to 12 of those jobs. When credits run out, Lindy pauses until the next cycle unless you move to a bigger plan.

3. Generalist by design. Lindy's site covers marketing, sales, support, operations, finance and engineering. That breadth is its strength for a small team, but a marketing team may want a product built only for marketing, or a builder to design its own agents.

These aren't criticisms of Lindy's design. They're genuine category differences. The alternatives below target the same market from different angles.

Top Lindy AI alternatives for marketing teams

1. Gumloop

Best for: teams that want to build their own AI agents across company apps

Gumloop calls itself "the multiplayer AI agent builder": anyone at a company can build agents with any AI model and any integration, while IT controls access. Agents connect to your apps, run on triggers, and use the skills your team shares. Its older workflow builder is now marked "Legacy" on the pricing page.

Where it stands out: you can build an agent for exactly your process, with 35+ models and your own API keys if you have them.

The tradeoff: Gumloop is a builder. You design each agent, so the output is as good as the agent you build.

Pricing (checked October 5, 2026): Pro starts at $37/month with 20,000 credits a month, unlimited agents and seats, and a 14-day free trial; Enterprise is custom. No free plan is listed.

2. Teamday

Best for: founders and marketing leads who want an AI marketing team to propose one goal and plan the week

Teamday takes a different starting point: one goal. Nova, the AI Chief Marketing Officer, studies your site, market and competitors, then proposes one goal: a number, where it stands today, and a date. Once you approve it, the marketing team plans the week against it, brings every draft to you before it ships, and sends a short readout every Monday.

How it works for marketing:

Nova (AI CMO) proposes the goal, plans the week, briefs the specialists, and reports what shipped and what is next in the Monday readout.

Sarah (AI SEO Manager) runs a weekly SEO report from Google Search Console and Ahrefs, surfaces keywords at positions 4–20 as quick wins, and runs a monthly site health audit and competitor analysis.

Maya (AI Content Creator) turns keyword opportunities into SEO-structured articles with cover images, and every draft comes to you before it is published.

James (AI Data Analyst) measures what moved the goal and what did not, from your own Search Console and Analytics.

Luna (AI Social Manager) handles LinkedIn and community — drafting posts, running posting calendars, monitoring engagement signals.

Mara (AI Newsletter Manager) manages email — subscriber list, campaign copy, segmentation, reporting.

The core difference from Lindy: Lindy does the work you assign. In Teamday, Nova proposes the goal and the weekly plan, and you approve them. Nothing publishes externally by default.

Pricing (checked October 5, 2026): $99/month for one company, with unlimited people. The $99 includes no AI: with your own Claude or ChatGPT account, work runs are unlimited, one job at a time, and AI usage bills to that account. Without one, you prepay AI credits ($50 or $200 packs that never expire) at the AI model's price plus 25%. It is free for 14 days with your own AI account, no card, and has a 14-day money-back guarantee. See pricing.

Where it wins: Marketing that should run every week against one number, with every draft reviewed before it ships: SEO fixes, articles, measurement, and the Monday readout.

Where it doesn't win: One-off task automation across arbitrary tools. Lindy and Gumloop handle that better, and Teamday works through one job at a time on the $99 plan.

3. n8n

Best for: technical teams that want maximum control and self-hosting

n8n is a workflow automation platform for technical teams, with AI agents, its source code on GitHub, and over 500 integrations. You build any automation you want — it's essentially unlimited if you have someone technical to set it up.

The AI capabilities are real: n8n builds AI agents as well as workflows, and every step of an agent's reasoning is traceable on the canvas. The difference from Gumloop is depth versus ease: n8n requires more setup but offers more control, including self-hosting for data privacy.

For a marketing team with a technical founder or an in-house developer, n8n can build exactly what you need. Without that, the setup cost is high.

Pricing (checked October 5, 2026): The self-hosted Community Edition is free. n8n Cloud Starter is €20/month billed annually for 2,500 workflow executions.

4. Zapier AI

Best for: marketing teams already using Zapier who want to add AI capabilities

Zapier connects 9,000+ apps and has added AI across its platform: Copilot and AI fields on its automation plans, and Zapier Agents, which it describes as "AI-powered teammates" that act in the apps you've connected. If your team is already in the Zapier ecosystem, adding AI is low-friction.

The limit: You design every Zap and agent yourself, and agent work is metered in activities.

Pricing (checked October 5, 2026): Zapier has a free plan with 100 tasks a month; Professional starts at $19.99/month billed annually. Zapier Agents is a separate plan: free for 400 activities a month, or Pro at $33.33/month billed annually for 1,500 activities.

5. Make

Best for: visual workflow builders who need complex multi-step automation

Make (formerly Integromat) is a visual workflow platform with a more sophisticated data-handling model than Zapier. It handles complex transformations, conditional logic, and multi-branch flows better than most alternatives.

Make has added AI on top: Maia builds automations and AI agents from a conversation, and Make AI Agents (in beta) run on Make's AI provider or your own LLM key. If you have complex data flows — pulling from multiple sources, transforming data, routing based on conditions — Make handles this well.

Where it's weaker than alternatives: Its AI agents are still in beta, and you design every scenario yourself.

Pricing (checked October 5, 2026): Make has a free plan with up to 1,000 credits a month; Core starts at $9/month for 10,000 credits.

6. Sintra AI

Best for: solo founders who want low-cost AI helpers across many business tasks

Sintra sells 12 core AI employees with names and roles, including Soshie (social media), Penn (copywriting), Seomi (SEO) and Emmie (email marketing). Brain AI stores your brand kit and business memory, recurring tasks and automations run work on a schedule, and Sintra's help center lists 960+ app connections.

Where it wins vs. Lindy: one price per workspace for the whole set of helpers, shared by everyone you add, rather than a seat per user.

The limit: Every plan includes the same 250 credits a month for advanced AI actions, and you set up the recurring tasks yourself.

Pricing (checked October 5, 2026): Sintra X, the only plan sold, is $48.50/month month to month, $23.60/month on a 3-month plan, or $15.60/month on a 12-month plan paid upfront (discounted from list prices of $97, $59 and $52), with a 14-day money-back guarantee. Relay.app, which appeared here in earlier versions of this guide, shut down in September 2026.

If you want to build your own agents instead of using Lindy, Gumloop is the quickest builder to evaluate, and n8n suits technical teams that want to self-host.
