How to switch
- Open any agent → Agent Settings → Model → pick
Claude Opus 4.7. - Sonnet 4.6 remains the default for now — Opus 4.7 is opt-in per agent so you control cost.
Where it shines
- Max (App Builder) — multi-file refactors, large codebases, long-running build sessions.
- James (Business Analyst) — synthesizing Ahrefs + GA + competitor data into a coherent brief.
- Any autonomous mission — the planning horizon is long enough that Opus 4.7 stops losing the thread.
